Welcome to Dragonflies
Welcome to Dragonflies, a mixed EYFS and Year 1 class where children continue to develop independence, confidence and a strong foundation for learning. This class provides a gentle transition between early learning and more structured classroom routines.
We create a calm and welcoming environment where children feel happy, safe and ready to learn. Our Bee Rules help children understand how to be kind, be safe, be respectful and be inquisitive, supporting positive behaviour and curiosity from an early age.
Dragonflies is taught by Miss Wild supported by Mrs Wilson and Miss Morrison, who work together to provide a nurturing and consistent learning experience for all children.
The Best Bits of Dragonflies
“One of my favourite things about Dragonflies is watching the children grow in confidence — especially when you see their pencil control and handwriting improve week by week. It is so special seeing their pride when they realise how much they have achieved. I also love the awe and wonder on their faces when we share stories together — those moments where they are completely captivated are truly magical.”
